Forums - Gaming - So who still supports EA games?

Definitely losing interest in EA....but ask me again if they announce a Mutant League Hockey game for Wii U.

Boycotting a company the size of EA will result in 2 things: a). they wont give a fuck that they lost 1 sale, or even 100. b). you will miss out on plenty of quality games.

All games have glitches, even our all time favorites. There is no bug free game. Lets take as an example one of the games that is considered by many the best one ever made:

3D Zelda games in particular are known for some crazy sequence breaks, though when it's been an actual gamefucking, news-creating thing, solutions have been provided.

Some of these glitches (particularly the one you linked, and the sequences breaks used in the above linked speedruns) actually make the games more interesting to play. INVESTIGATE!

Actually I just read an article on IGN (I think) that talked about how it is a norm in the industry for studios to layoff people when a game ships and then rehire them when it is crunch time.  The thing is the source said EA tried harder than most people to give out good severance packages and find them new jobs., and that they payed higher than average.

Now don't get me wrong, I am not some kind of EA fanboy...If that is even a thing.  In fact I suspect BF4's buggy console versions are a result of not being given enough time by EA to polish the game.  But there is no need to hate them for it because sales suffered and EA learned their lesson.

They are no a really bad company to work with and I really just ignore them mostly and get one or 2 games from them without problem... till last April when they started with their annoying april's fool messages against Wii U, for no reason at all. From that point on, I stopped looking at their games and did not brought them to my fellow gamers in our facebook group

Let me see how Battlefront looks and I'll decide. As of now I don't own any of their games and haven't bought one since...damn I bought NHL last year lol. Well before that it was ME3!

Get Your Portable ID!Lord of Ratchet and Clank

Duke of Playstation Plus

Warden of Platformers

I don't play it at all, but my brother has the X1 version of this. He loves it and hasn't complained once.

For me, a lot of my willingness to trust EA comes down to their ongoing treatment of Bioware and Simpsons:Tapped Out (but also please give us another hit and run!!!).

Dont fuck either of those things up EA!

EA never cease to amaze me lol

I've stopped supporting EA long ago.

I would buy an EA game if I saw one worth buying. As you can probably guess, it has been a long time since I last bought one.

Not me. If their logo is on it, I'll only buy it second hand, and even then only rarely as most of what they make these days is garbage.

Who still supports them? Too many people.

Dragon Age is easily one of my favorite franchises in a long, long time. It's one of the few games I'll buy Day One.

So, yeah, sorry, but not really.
