Forums - Gaming - So who still supports EA games?

Looks like they're stepping it up with the glitches for next gen. That's EA quality control at it's best.

Holy crap! I suddenly want to buy that game! That video was awesome!

Also, EA owns Bioware... So They are awesome!

How widespread are these glitches exactly? Seems to me like they'd be pretty rare or else I would have heard something about them before now. This is probably a video from one of those Youtubers who specifically try to break games for comedic effect on their Youtube videos, Ben Buja for instance.

Those are not too widespread but happen from time to time, these guys just compiled some of the worse and added some comments to them, and is very funny indeed.

Now answering the openning question... I don't even receive the free games that a friend that works there can give to me, last game I purchased from them was NFS: Most Wanted U last year and I don't have plans to buy anything else on the long term, if something really good comes out I will probably get it used.

I too no longer support EA. Unfortunately they still have me with Mass Effect and maybe dragon age.

Left to me they should go the way of crytek.

I support games, not publishers. Mass Effect for example was a great game, so I bought it and had a ton of fun.

Some people need to get over themselves...

Prediction for console Lifetime sales:

Wii:100-120 million, PS3:80-110 million, 360:70-100 million

[Prediction Made 11/5/2009]

3DS: 65m, PSV: 22m, Wii U: 18-22m, PS4: 80-120m, X1: 35-55m

I gauruntee the PS5 comes out after only 5-6 years after the launch of the PS4.

Agree with the concept that you sould support the developers. Problem is EA funds the devs and each year to me gets worst and worst and pushes their devs to cut corners, probably pay them shit too and their games suffer.

You  realize that no one forced Bioware to sign with EA right?  EA saw potential, and gave them the best deal.  Like it or not EA publishes countless unforgetable games and without them we would probably be missing a few great ones.

P.S.  I guarantee that some games by EA people are "Boycotting" are just games they weren't gonna buy anyways.  Enjoy the new Dragon Age you aren't boycotting Intrinsic!

After BF4 I'm hesitant on any first day games from EA.

Exactly. Also some say they will be boycotting, but still buy the games

Electronic Arts (EA) should be renamed in Electronic Shit (ES) :D
