If Monolith remakes Xenosaga the it's Nintendo exclusive. Even if Namco is in, it'll still be exclusive, considering all other games from Monolith Namco has been exclusive since buyout.

Does Namco own the IP?

I just played through the first and I don't think this a game that needs to remastered, but wholly remade. Lots of issues need to be fixed.

Yes. People say Xenosaga 2 is the worst but I liked it more than 1. That game could use a remake too though.

3 is the best by far and nothing about it really needs to be changed.

Xeno 2 was my favorite one. I thought 3 was the weakest.

Xenosaga collection, yes!
Ace Combat 4, 5 and 0 in one collection, yes!

Imo, Xenosaga breaks down like this.

First game is good due to the world design, XenoCard, and the storyline. Battle system in the first game was trash.

We're completely opposite here.

I liked the first because of its gameplay and thought the story wasn't very good. It might not have been bad if the storytelling wasn't horrendous.

Yes, but it's only going to be outside as a Nintendo exclusive if they outsource Xenosaga.

If Monolith makes them, the games will be Nintendo exclusives, I don't think they have to though, they'll slowly overlap all the old Xeno stuff with the Xenoblade series of games anyways. If you want the better Xeno experience, you either go Nintendo or emulator.

If on a console I own, it would be a first day buy for me. The Xenosaga collection that is.

As a European I had to start my Xenosaga experience with watching the 'movie' disc that came with Xenosaga 2. I was amazed, I loved the story and enjoyed the gameplay on all 3. (of course I imported the first later on.)

I'd love a remake of both. Especially Ace Combat.

I'd buy a Xenosaga Collection. I tried to get into the second game (the only one we got in Europe) but just couldn't because I hadn't played the first.

I would absolutely love a hd remake of xenosaga 1-3. Those games got me into rpgs.
