Starting September with the launch in more countries, Xbox One will catch up faster than it has before. Xbox One will have a bigger holiday season than Wii U. Seems simple enough.

Do you bet?

I bet that XBOX ONE don't passed Wii U this year, and this year Wii U closed with more of 2-2.5 milioni more of XBOX ONE.

I will take that bet. I bet Xbox One will pass Wii U by this year, and will be ahead by +1 million

Won bet with t3mporary_126 - I correctly predicted that the Wii U's LTD at the end of 2014 would be closer to 9 million than 10 million. http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=6673287

Destiny, Call of Duty, Assassin's Creed. Basically, 3rd party. That's stuff that WiiU doesn't have.

The problem is that xbox1 isn't going to benefit from those releases.

Did someone whistle that in your ear?

I always wonder why people think this is possible. With the Halo collection this year the gap will shrink and even Smash and Mario Kart for Christmas won't have the same effect but the gap will still be there and then we have to wait for the games of 2015 and there we have Halo 5 on the one hand and Zelda on the other hand. This will still be interesting.

I don't hate Microsoft, I don't hate PC,
I don't prefer Sony, I don't prefer Nintendo.
...Ok, I love Nintendo but this is something about tolerance, ok?

I'm a gamer with one of the greatest hobbies and I want to share this greatness with everyone.

And Wii U isn't sold at a loss anymore, either, so that's good news all-round for Nintendo.
X1 looks to be in a pickle, though. Seriously low numbers right now, no matter which way anyone spins it. :s

XB1 sales are not amazing and won't be for some time, they will be fair ahead of WiiU throughout the rest of the year tho.

Not to mention, XB1 was sold at profit from launch, meaning a real price cut is still a possibilty for cash rich Microsoft. Fact Nintendo have only just started profiting means it's unlikely WiiU has a price cut coming.

i dont know what you mean. is that a play off my username? its just obvious. it didnt happen with watch dogs, and its not going to happen with any of these multiplats this fall. xbone is in a really tough position because its always going to be compared to ps4 which is pretty much accepted by everybody to have superior multiplats. people are going to buy those games on ps4 as if theyre exclusive titles.

So how does that change anything I said?

I think the halo collection thing selling loads over the holidays is its best shot,
but i dont think that will be enough to beat the double threat of MK8 and Smash bros
