too true. Either way, the WiiU was and is in trouble. anyone thinking a console heading towards 3 years on the market and CAN'T drop its price isn't in trouble?

It can, but it probably won't with smash coming out, unless microsoft has some big guns they haven't revealed yet or are planning MASSIVE price reductions (which they won't do).  Holiday sales are ridiculously lopsided compared to the rest of the year.  over half of all consoles sold during the year are sold during the last three months...
