I wonder what this means for like, the number of Zelda games each Gen. There's 2 handeld and 2 console games a Gen on average, and I wonder if that will be decreased since it's only one set of game developing instead of two.

I actually think that its a good idea for Nintendo to make a hybrid handheld/console. A handheld that has a docking station that can handle 4 controllers. It could actually work.

Yeah, Nintendo fans are often different on what they prefer. Using the Zelda example, stopping either 2d or 3d zeldas and sticking to one style would end with them losing half the fanbase.
