It's completely irrelevant if he is anime or not, nor does having realistic proportions defines if something is cartooney or not. They are using different approach for rendering kid and he looks more cartooney than the rest of the scene.

If you can't see it, I'm sorry, and considering that, from all your posts I've seen since you joined the forum, talking to you is as productive as talking to a wall, I won't be answering further.

Yeah, or no people like you are unable to successfully argue their point. He is not "rendered differently." He's lighter. He doesn't look "more cartoony." He looks anime, which fits perfectly with the entire anime aesthetic.

But definitely don't answer any further. I respect it.

....mmh i dont see it

This kid definitely looks distinct from his environment in TLG. Link does too, but much less so.

That is one of many examples, yes.

Also, Zelda U looks nothing like WW. You would have to be blind to make that comparison. There is some similarity to SS, but not that much. SS takes the opposite approach on many things. In particular, SS turns backgrounds into watercolors, eliminating details. U provides as much long distance detail as possible.

seriously you can't see it?   can you see it here?  ...cause the aesthetic between the kid and the beast/environment is massively distinct.
