Atlus has opened a teaser site for a new Etrian Odyssey game.

The site, which is titled “This is not broccoli,” features a 10,000 meter-tall tree. When you climb to the top, you’ll find the above “2DX.”

An “sq” can be found in the URL to the site, which has been in all previous Etrian Odyssey teaser sites. Additionally, Etrian Odyssey is known as Labyrinth of the World Tree in Japan.

Atlus seemed to be struggling with Etrian Odyssey. It had been seeing pretty stagnant sales in Japan (not particularly bad sales, just never moving up no matter what they did) and it has never really been a hit in the west.

Given the massive success of Persona Q (which I'm sure is going to sell massively better in the west, too) I wasn't sure they were going to return to this. So props to them for that.

Good news! I love the series, even though I suck at them.

Excellent. I'm planning on buying Untold soon, and should be finished with it just in time for this game's American release.

Great to see the series recieving love. I would have prefered a main series Persona game, though, I'm still beating Untold.

As much as I like Persona and am eager for PQ and P5... I'm glad it's not more Persona. Atlus needs to show its other great IPs more love.
