Pokemon, Smash Bros. and Monster Hunter 4 Something is coming

So?... there is already a new gen of pokemon and mh3 on 3ds, smash could help something but not so much, considering is on wii u too.

Well the 3DS usually takes the number 2 spot after the PS4, so if that is what you are calling poor sales, then everyone else is doing horrible...

Handhelds tend to sell more, but yeah there is horrible sales all around.

Without a doubt. PS4 will have periods of massive sales in Japan as the major titles start releaseing. Basically 90% of Japanese publishers titles will be PS4/XBO games, and that will translate to nearly being exclusives in Japan. Additionally, Sony's Japan studio seems to be back on track again this gen, and will be much more productive on PS4. I expect PS4 to sell at least 50% more units in Japan than PS3.

On the Vita side, I know it has been said for years, but a PS Phone has got to be coming soon. The treand towards gaming on phones is no secret, espcially in Japan. Vita already has a very capable OS, a massive catalog of games, and soon PS Now. Sony has to get a Vita model out that can access PS Now over 4G.

With that said, I think even in its current state Vita will continue to pick up its sales pace, and PS4 remote play will help it a lot once the games people want to play start to hit that machine as well.
