Smash Bros. U will have the holiday advantage. Let's not forget that Mario Kart is a bigger series than Smash in modern times, as it appeals to millions more people, so it's possible that it won't outsell its first week. With the holiday launch, Smash has a good chance, but not a guarantee.
Smash mostly due to holidays. Don't expect Zelda or anything else after that to be anywhere near Smash.
Pikmin 4 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Smash > Mario Kart 8 > Zelda
I can dream.
My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.
Super Smash Bros should. It is a huge IP and will be a Holiday release.
Zelda U could as well because it will have a higher Wii U base to sell to.
Splatoon will be big IMO but won't have a huge opening because it's a new IP. Longevity will make it a hit though.
That's it out of the announced games.
Smash bros will double it.

I don't see why it would. Mario Kart is historically a better selling franchise.
