Forums - Gaming - Why PC Gaming is kinda dissapointing

I know this is my personal preference, but my god where the fuck are the JRPGS? Like there's not much of them and most MMO''s suck ass and the indies are just okay. Seeing as JRPGS are my favoritneThee only recenty JRPG game I found that wass 3D and had a decent budget for PC was The Last Remnant and that game was just "okay".

I know I can just emulate a lot of games but man it's not even worth the effort most of the time. If PC had more JRPG's I'd honestly love the hell out of PC gaming but until then I'll just be a console gamer. Shame because I love the PC's openess, mods and messing around with graphical settings.

I usually emulate :P

Which is why I personally don't see the need of a gaming PC outside of a couple good MMOs.

And if you wanted JPRGs you should have gotten a PS3 or Vita.

I like being both... And nothing beats the Steam Summer Sales so there is that too

I mostly play Console for Console exclusives but all third party games that are out for PC and console (which is most western games as well as some Japanese games), PC all the way

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

I recently got into The Old Republic, and it isn't too bad. Galactic Starfighter is fun when you decent at it, but the first few games almost make you want to cry with how good everyone else is.

I have every major system instead of handhelds, Xbox One, and Wii U. lol I mostly play on my PS3 still more than anything, sadly.

Handhelds are where the JRPGs are at mainly.

I used to like JRPGs like you did but yeah in that department their not exactly what'd anyone would call strong in that genre ...

Until we start getting on the nerves of the japanese devs to give us our god damned JRPGs we will always get shafted in the end cause that's one less game we get. Even the X1 has more JRPGs than the PCs. LOL

Imagine that, FF XV all in it's glorious 4K@60FPS on PC ...

Ni No Kuni for PC >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Star Ocean: The Last Hope for PC >>>>>>>>>>> The game NEEDED better AA and geometry and it would've been beatiful.

I always thought the reason it was disappointing was because of DRM, getting games later or not at all, bad optimized ports, and troubleshooting why a game doesn't work the way it's supposed to on my PC. Could have picked a lot better reasons than lack of JRPGS.
