so i am in a giant dilemma. i just finished yoshi's new island, 100%ed it. but now i feel empty. i put in a link between worlds because i still need to finish that one, but i dont feel like playing 3ds. i feel like playing mario kart 8 on wii u, but i cant afford mario kart 8. it would be the dumbest thing ever for me to go out and get that game right now given my financial situation. its been that way since the game came out. it should be ok though because i still have mario 3d world and dkctf to complete. im almost done with 3d world, but i have only aout 15-20 shiny golds on dkc. so i should probably play that.

BUT i also have the fact that i need a new job looming over my head. my job that i have now sucks (i work at a shitty little video game store where the boss is being a bitch and cut everybody's hours). i applied for a physics tutoring job, but those assholes havent called me back and im PISSED about that.  and i need to study for my classes next fall. i am going to be taking five biology classes, a japanese class, a chemistry class, and a physics class and i wanted to read the text book for one of my biology classes before school started and i wanted to study the entirety of my japanese stuff (i am in the fifth class in the series and i wanted to restudy the first four classes and the next one before school starts), and i wanted to learn the whole physics course and do all the homeworks as well. sigh... wat should i do? my wife is also pissed that i dont have another job as well. and our house is a complete mess, and it needs to be cleaned.

so what should i do? should i play a link between worlds, or a wii u game? or use some of our savings for mario kart? or should i study for one of my classes, clean the house, or try to find another job? :/

Are you really asking about games with those problems?

Why don't you buy yourself something nice over Steam, not expensive? That way you shouldn't feel bad and it should not put your financial situation in trouble.

If your only options are WiiU or 3DS, though, go for A Link Between Worlds.

I think you should study, do the housework and concentrate on finding a new job, and play a bit of Mario and DK when you get a chance in the meantime.

And then when you do get a new job, treat yourself

Just sit back, relax and fap away your problems! Alternatively, you can stop playing games and work on your job/education cause without a job, it means no games

im kind of a collector.. steam doesnt really appeal to collectors of things like me. i have like 4000 games complete and in the box, so thats why selling anything i have is also out of the question.

You are quite young to be married. Anyway I suggest you go and study so you can get access to a better job. If you are planning to have kids in the future you are going to need it. It's something that can be solved though! Just put all your efforts into studying.

As for videogames... you have to make do with what you have. Play the games you own before thinking of the games you have are yet to own.

And clean your house, it will make your wife happy.
