I'd expect the sales boost to be somewhere between those of Zelda and Dynasty Warriors boosts.

In 2011, Dynasty Warriors 7 boosted PS3 sales by about 30%, and Skyward Sword boosted Wii sales by about 50%. So if we suppose a 40% boost, plus an extra, say, 3,000 to account for the fact that Wii U sales have been depressed, we would expect somewhere around 21-22k.

This is the "ordinary" prediction, on the assumption that the game isn't going to get a big following. If Japan reacts strongly to Hyrule Warriors (and they very well could), we could be set to see something closer to 50k. This is on the assumption that Japan's interest is strongly captured, Nintendo pushes the game hard, and a lot of Japanese gamers held off on buying a Wii U for this game.

If Mario Kart could only move 19k WiiUs then how in the world will Hyrule Warriors push 50k?

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

I already explained how. Read my post again. Hint: it's the part that follows "This is on the assumption that".

It's not what I expect. It's the upper end result. Besides, Mario Kart Wii barely made a blip in Wii sales in Japan - the week before release, Wii sold 45,000 units. The week of release, it sold 48,000 units. So I really don't see why you'd expect Mario Kart 8 to be some barometer for potential Wii U sales in Japan. What's more, you could have checked this for yourself prior to your criticism of me.
