There's Soul Hackers at my retail store. I might give that one a go.
Well, looks like it became essential. Guess I'll have to buy it now.

If you have a working PS2 I would get the games on it. Unless you plan on getting a PS3 and buying them on PSN. |
You could play the SNES ones too, they have a fan translation. Otherwise do as Soriku says, the PS2 ones (specially SMT 3 Nocturnes) are awesome.

Well, that was unexpected.
By me, at least.
Ya know, I'd like to support Persona Q but I feel like it would be a lot better if I actually knew something about the other Personas. The only MegaTen games I've played have been Devil Survivor and SMTIV (got distracted and haven't finished that one... probably going to have to start over soon!).
Perhaps I ought to acquire P3 FES and P4... if only I had time!

Interesting... though I wonder what method will be used to explain how they don't know each other in P4A, if they are going to retcon or just wipe their memories clean of the events. Though whatever it is, the bonds that Minato had with the P4 protagonists, may help Elizabeth, to find a way to save him from being the Great Seal. But if he ever gets free of the seal, it would probably be because Elizabeth decided to take his place, after forming bonds with both the P3 and P4 protagonists, plus those she meets in the journey she begins at the end of her story in P4A.
COMG guide to points: 1 point = Raging. 2 points = Beasting. 3 points = Tearing it up. 4 points = Berzerk. 7 points = Rampage. 12 points = Burst. 15 points = god mode. 20+ points = DIVIDING BY ZERO!!! 40+ points = Youkai (originally Pokemon).
-1 = Negabeasting. -5= NegaRampage. -10 = NegaBurst
I think it might be something to do with saving the guy at the end of Persona 3 (trying not to spoiler).
Maybe they all enter the Velvet Room which I dont think is restricted by the laws of time (although P3 and P4 are around the same time frame, maybe 1 or 2 years apart)

Well...to be honest I never finished FEZ The Answer.... was too hard for me and not fun....
So if what I said makes no sense then you have my permission to shun me for not finishing The Answer.

They can claim it's canon all they want, but I'll ignore it. P3 and P4G are related and that's about it.
The most stretching I'll do is P4 Arena, but it does make some sense.

To be fair, though, you haven't played it. You don't know how the plot goes in Persona Q to see if it really is canon or Atlus is just saying it for saying it.
