Because it was 1969 and the signal was travelling 250,000 miles while bouncing from various pickups across the world? You do realize that you can't just "get" a signal from Luna, right? You do have to be on the proper side of the Earth to do it and technology of the time didn't give us the luxury of satellites, modern international communication relays, etc. etc.

It's not far-fetched to think that given the scope of this operation, things didn't work 100% perfectly while attempting to cooperate with several different countries to keep a continuous signal coming in at all times.

Why does this rock have a letter 'C' on it? There is also a 'C' on the ground in front of the rock. The use of the letter C on film props is well known by the people in Hollywood and is used to show where the centre of the scene should be.


One sceptic on the Bad astronomy sceptics web group has even said it is a hair??? on both the rock and ground? Now who's trying to cover things up?

They needed to go back for the same reasons they keep going into space today - there is a lot of shit we don't fully understand and thousands of tests to be run. Two guys hopping around for a few hours and planting a flag on the moon didn't reveal everything there is to discover about Luna, you know.

You all realize that the chance of that "C" image being photoshopped is extremely high don't you.

Frankly, if you think the moon landing was faked you should die. If it was faked every country on this planet would have pointed it out as they were all monitoring every move they possibly could during the mission.

They have the training module for the Apollo 11 craft in Arizona. Not sure where the original is but I doubt it just got up and ran away (I'll take a guess and say it's probably in the Smithsonian without checking).

I have no idea about the footage but I'll look it up. Honestly, if that's the most evidence you can come up with to disprove the landing, you don't have a leg to stand on. Physicists and astronomers have been calculating and recalculating the details of the moon landing for years and no one has come up with substantial evidence to show that it was faked. Combine that with the Soviets having some of the best scientists on Earth working to get there before the US and no one said anything puts 95% of the conspiracy theories in serious doubt right off the bat.


 So you believe they just lost it?  you are saying that their is no evidence that they faked it ,well people would not say it was faked if they just give those damned tapes! (or the majority does).

But what could Russia said? No one would believe them...Whole the Western World was god damned scared of them..  Whole the world wanted that USA was the first on the moon so they could show Captilism/democracy is the best....

Well why  I  COULD believe it was fake: (Remember I said COULD COULD COULD)

We are going back to the swinging Sixties.

Their was Kennedy who said in 1961 'THIS DECADE WE WILL LAND ON THE MOON'

Their was the Cold war (Russia is the best, No the Western world is blabla).

Their was the crowd of people who hated the USA especially in Europe , Australia and don't forget also in USA because of Viëtnam the USA needed something to make the world respect them again.

And their were the Russians who was beating the USA in Space.

Person X: Sir I know that we promised we will be on the moon before 1970 but we can't.

Why didn't countries like Russia said something about it?
They don't had a good relationschip with the USA.

Well no one would believe them, they can't prove it, the source is the NASA who
said they were on the moon and because they have lost the proof no one can research it.

Why would USA lie? Do they ever?

While I make up almost everything that I Typed here I still could
believe those kind of discussions could be true...

The USA government showed us that they can lie and why shouldn't they lie
about the moonlanding they had to land on the moon also if they had to fake it..

Their was no other way...

First, the "radio show" was War of the Worlds, and it was broadcast in the late 30s (I think it was 1938), and "the whole world" didn't fall for it - just a large handful of gullible people.

Second, there were PLENTY of people in the west who were SYMPATHETIC to the communist cause, and who would have LOVED to humiliate the Nixon administration (especially in the midst of the unpopular war and the Watergate controversy, not to mention the 1972 re-election campaign). If there was any reliable evidence that the moon landing was faked it would have been a devastating blow to the American people, arguably worse than the impact of Watergate.

On the Iraq thing, it wasn't the US "lying" - it was every intelligence agency in the world that believed Iraq had the WMD. It was Saddam Hussein who WANTED the world to believe he had WMDs because he feared an invasion by Iran if they knew he was without. Iraqi generals were told that they had WMDs. And when we invaded Iraq, we DIDN'T FIND THEM AND EVERYONE GODDAMN KNOWS IT! That's EVIDENCE that there was no conspiracy, because a US government able to fool the world's best intelligence agencies, and even high level military officials, would have been smary enough to PLANT THE FUCKING EVIDENCE THAT SUPPORTED THE ORIGINAL LIE! If those WMDs were found, the backlash to the Iraq war never would have materialized to this degree. Bush would not have had a damn good chance of losing the election, and his approval numbers would not be in the low 30s.

Does anyone realize that RIGHT NOW there are lasers being bounced off a mirror on the moon in order to plot the orbits of the moon and Earth? That this ongoing research is the result of a mirror placed on the moon during that first mission? If the moon landing was faked, then there are 4 decades worth of scientific research conducted by hundreds, perhaps thousands, of different researchers that is absolutely worthless? And that not one of these undeniably brilliant astrophysicists has caught on?
