I recall Nintendo saying they are actively seeking a blue ocean - maybe that relates to quality of life things.

In terms of games - they only thing that have not been explored is adult games. High quality porn games is an untapped market - could be worth it :P

Kind of. I'm thinking it'll be a sort of "evolution" of the Wii U, where the GamePad is actually a full handheld system, and then you have the power of a home console at home. Off-TV Play was supposed to revitalize the Japanese market into buying home consoles again, so I imagine they'll be thinking of a way to merge the handheld market, which is still fairly successful in Japan, with the home console market.

Considering how even the PS4 decided to put in a touchscreen gimmick, and Nintendo's all about trying to do something new, I'd say yeah.
