Which is the most innovative shooter of E3?

Destiny 36 13.53%

Splatoon 186 69.92%

Evolve 19 7.14%

Sunset Overdrive 22 8.27%

Total:263

Splatoon and Destiny are my picks.

Easily Evolve. It changes the dynamic. Four players against one. If that one player is skilled, however, and they do a good job with balancing, then that one player has every chance to win. They're taking out the AI and replacing it with something much more unpredictable--another player.

I agree with this. It reminds me of how in Demon's Souls there was the monk boss that was an actual human player and not the typical AI. This makes more very challenging gameplay.

I would walk into the room and get mauled since I did not expect a boss to wait right next to the door way for when I walk in.

I would always go back to that stage, stand on the red sign and use a stone to place myself into someone else's game as the boss, equip the giant Dragonbone sword and hulk smash them when they walked in.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

Splatoon? Are you kidding me?

I'm all for voicing your opinion but come on. Destiny, Evolve and SO are miles ahead of Splatoon, graphically, mechanically, etc.

There's so much wrong with this post and the gaming world.

If the OP was asking for most unique, Splatoon probably those win. SO, Destiny and Evolve are not exactly "new" concepts, that I can admit.

Innovative goes beyond just uniqueness, i think. Splatoon is unique and refreshing and the gamepad map integration is neat. I did come off a little harsh, ill take that back. Still, I think Evolve provides more innovation than Splatoon.

I voted Sunset Overdrive simply because I know you made this thread specifically for Splatoon. I go against the grain!

For me Evolve is second, as you could see in my earlier post in this thread. If it was on Wii U I'd definitely think of buying it.

But I've been waiting for a paintball game from Nintendo for quite a while, so I'm excited for this. :p

That is pretty specific. I guess it only makes sense that the Wii U's first exclusive shooter would be a more light hearted take on the shooter multiplayer.

The game comes off niche but it looks like it can sell well if advertised properly and some word of mouth. I think most people are happy about the local multiplayer and single player announcement.

Splatoon is the only correct answer!

Really need to stop using innovative in this industry.

To answer the question, none.
