Yeah, it's actually becoming a big problem there. And also The Game Theorists are a great youtube channel! They have a craptonne of interesting videos, not just about culture (that is a subseries called game exchange), but also about general y'know theories in/about games.

I agreed with you until you said pedophile. You can't possibly believe that a child or even someone in their early to mid teens actually knows enough about life to make that type of decision for themselves. I know that I was a completely different person when I was 14 and while I was chasing girls and looking for a sexual partner back then, I regret it today. 17-18 is the right age for a person to be able to make those types of decisions for themseleves, even that is still a little to young in my opinion but that is the age where you start to really understand right and wrong, you are able to analyze your mistakes so that it does not happen again.

That depends, though. 16 is the legal consensual age for sex in Spain, for example.

I think the average age is around 12-13-14 nowadays, in almost every single part of the world, but I pretty much doubt it goes lower than that.

When I was  doing my University degree in sociology back in 2009, the average age of initiating sex here in Australia was 16. Though obviously you have to question the accuracy of results like that as people are prone to lie.

16 is legal in most states, but in New South Wales, the most populous state, 17 is the age of  consent, meaning the average person there starts having sex before it is legal.

Though, really, "age of consent" is such a loosely term. Two of about 15 having sex isn't a crime, as long as it is (obviously) consent between the two. I think it has more to do with minors with adults, but I'm really not so sure.
