Forums - Nintendo - Star Fox U WON'T require for you to use gyro

Here is the link

"While the TV shows the perspective from behind the Arwing, players can also use the gyro sensors of the GamePad to intuitively and independently target enemies"

When it talks about the gyro, it says players CAN also use it to independently fire at enemies, this being said, it looks like you will not be forced to use the gamepad's gyro to attack enemies, and it might also mean there is auto target. Hopefully, they include the gyro, auto target, and manual target to the game for the best expirence for all players

I don't understand why people are so worried about this. Of course there's going to be lots of control options..

So many thought it would be forced and already had Star Fox U written off as a flop prematurely.

the crying for star fox ended...

the crying about motion controls starts?

Who cares?! Star Fox U still d00med!

There's absolutely nothing in what you quoted that hints at gyro being optional. Got my hopes up for nothing.

Let's just wait till we get more info before panicking about all this.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

I don't mind it as an option. I just want a GOOD Star Fox game, that doesn't force motion controls on me. They work great for certain games, like Metroid Prime. But Star Fox? No thank you.

One: It's Nintendo

Two: People assume things stupidly

Three: People want to complain because they want to complain
