Day one. I knew Rockstar wouldn't disappoint.

It has more than a slight power advantage :) The xb1 is roughly inbetween a 7770 and 7790, and the ps4 a 7850 and 7870. Most of that extra gpu however seems to be put towards upping the res on ps4 games, so if a xb1 is 720p the ps4 equivalent, if the ps4 is being used properly should be 900p with idk, slightly better shadows or particle effects. Does that mean you should buy a ps4? no, if graphics are the end-all-be-all for gamers, then the pc should of course come first. But, if actually playing games is your priority, pick whichever console you prefer :p (the latter part of this post of course not directed implicitly towards you, but to anyone reading the thread)

I'm not sure exactly what your comment was meant to convey. "Real" gamers play games and don't engage in hyperbole about where they play their games.

Gamers who choose to play exclusively on a console or a handheld or a PC aren't any less gamers than those of use who would choose to play on more than one patform. SO I guess since not everyone can afford a PC to play games AND a console they can't be considered "real" gamers?

So what if the consoles are "behind." We are talking about GTA V and the difference between PS4 and PS3. If anything on this subject it is PC that is behind. Tell me what resolution GTA V was on PC when it launched. Oh wait, you can't since it hasn't come out on PC yet.  The point of my post was to address those who would say that there is no discernable difference in graphics between this and last gen games. This video shows otherwise in that regard. It wasn't an indictment on the previous gen version of GTA or an invitation to digress into a PC vs. console debate.

I personally play certain games on PC and certain others on my console(s) not because I am a "real" gamer but because I prefer it that way.

That looks a lot better, very impressive job from Rockstar.

But with that said, if the increased traffic is also present in the game (not only cinematics) won't tthat make the car missions a lot harder?

Have to hand it to R*, they've gone above and beyond what I expected for the next-gen version. Somewhat puts Watch Dogs to shame :/

I'm glad you said it... I was so bothered by his original comment but I try not to let PC Elitists get under my skin, since that's what they subconsciously want, after all. Bow down to the PC Master Race!! lol ;p 

Anyways, well said. I like to think I'm a "real" gamer and I play everything from Wii, PS3, PC, I play shooters, love GTA 5, my son loves when we play Mickey Mouse on PS3, I played WoW from launch in 2004 until 2012 (ugh) and I enjoyed it very much. I still play all kinds of PC games but I definitely prefer sitting down in front of my HD TV with controller in hand, and my son loves to hold the 2nd controller even if it's turned off,  and we game it up. I have a gaming PC that I tend to use to check Facebook and VG Chartz (among other sites). Many millions prefer console gaming. What did last gen consoles sell like 200 million? That is A LOT of people. The PC Master Elitist Race is a very large minority but they happen to be the most entitled and the loudest... and they make gaming worse for us all. I love my PC and PC gaming, but I love console gaming too. and I could care less if I could get the PC version with "zomg teh graphics!!" over my watered down console version. I grew up in the early 90's, I love Gaming and graphics are a nice bonus. If you loved the Origal Doom on PC (as I did) but now you say that an open world game like GTA 5 on PS4 is "sooo watered down and ugly compared to PC, just wait till the PC Mods come out! You'll never go back to the PS4 version!" ... Um... yea, like me break out my microscope and pixle counter to tell me that the game is better on PC even though I don't really see a difference and even if I did, I don't even care. Wow PC only people are becoming more annoying than ever. Sorry I just got out of another thread where it was like 30 of us VS like 5 PC Elistist and the PC guys were convinced that the rest of us are sub human non gamers. 

I knew this was going to happen lol.
Good thing I didn't buy the PS3 version.
