I'm actually a multi platform gamer, I just happen to prefer Xbox One for multiplat games because of the achievements and controller. I actually just said earlier today in the Driveclub vs. Forza Horizon 2 thread that PS4 has a small power advantage over Xbox One, which is part of the reason why Driveclub has slightly better graphics. |
It has more than a slight power advantage :) The xb1 is roughly inbetween a 7770 and 7790, and the ps4 a 7850 and 7870. Most of that extra gpu however seems to be put towards upping the res on ps4 games, so if a xb1 is 720p the ps4 equivalent, if the ps4 is being used properly should be 900p with idk, slightly better shadows or particle effects. Does that mean you should buy a ps4? no, if graphics are the end-all-be-all for gamers, then the pc should of course come first. But, if actually playing games is your priority, pick whichever console you prefer :p (the latter part of this post of course not directed implicitly towards you, but to anyone reading the thread)
