Controls are clumsy? How far are you for the gameplay to be boring? It is the adventure that sets the game out.

You might like the modern Zelda games more if that is the case. Try Wind Waker/TP/Skyward. A Link Between Worlds is an excellent 2D Zelda game. The other 2D Zelda games are also great.

im playing the 3ds version, the camera feels waay off, when you have to aim that slingshot it feels awkward, and the combat doesnt feel right. im not too far only just finshed the first dungeon with those spiders. but its left such a poor impression i dunno if i can go back. those 2d zeldas look more my thing.

It's not the best. It's what we like to call "overrated." Problem solved.

It's the most revolutionary game in the franchise. It's arguably the most revolutionary game of all time. It was the best game of it's time. It's not the best game of all time. Definitely not the best the series has to offer.

In my honest opinion, Ocarina of Time is an outdated game. Sure, it is a masterpiece. But it is outdated.

 

I implore you to go play Wind Waker. If you don't enjoy that one, then...Zelda isn't for you. If you do, though, I'm pretty sure you'll love it.

well im getting my wiiu in a couple of months, so ill check it out. those 2d zelda games look more fun to me. i like over the top camera views

OOT is going to win obviously as that game was the first 3D one, people usually just autovote it. Personally, Zelda 3 was the best, my all time favourite game. :)

i guess is like the way final fantasy fans all say ff7 is the greatest. because for its time they were masterpieces but now they havent aged well.

The amazing thing about the Zelda series is that everyone has a different favourite/best and least favourite/worst, because of how different/varied the series is. Maybe OoT just isnt your style.

I dont like the word overrated all that much because of the implication that other person's opinions are less valid because of the opinions of someone else. Thoguh I do know that there are times when the word is indeed valid. I dunno ifthis is one of those times though.
