Well, I believe PS4 will have an amazing Sept-Dec 2014.  Destiny, best version, exclusive contents and more advertised for PS4, GTA5 most probably having a big surprise for PS4 fans, Drive Club and FiFA, which sells always better on Playstation; Call of Duty, not anymore better on a MS console like it was for 360, now better on PS4. LBP3...not sure if it will come out this holiday season...but I can forecast a PS4 domination again.

People might want to be careful about underestimating what Destiny can do for the PS4. If they can convince fence-sitters that Destiny is significantly better on the PS4, it could have a fairly substantial impact. It might really be the knock-out punch for 2014.

depends on how big destiny gets. Also if Sony markets properly then yea. But na idt it can break wii's record. I should've checked up on that :p

LBP3 has a solid release date and let's not forget the Destiny PS4 BUNDLE which will really tip the scales even more towards Sony

Compared to the Xbox One yes Call of duty sold better on the Ps4 but the Xbox 360 version sold the best. Install base does have a big part on how well a game will do on that system but if a game is exclusivly advertised for just one consoles 9/10 times it well sell best on that console its being advertised for. Which is why Wtach Dogs did the best on the PS4. If Install base was all that mattered it would have sold the best on the 360.

U sure it has nothing to do with PS4 having nearly 2x the install base. PS3 and X360 have near the same install base and near the same sales. PS4 has 2x the install base of the X1 and 2x the sales of Watch Dogs.

I believe that if Watch Dogs had no exclusive deal and was just released that the sales would be much closer then they are now. Yes it would have still sold better on the PS4 but I dont think it would have pushed as much on the Ps4 and defiantly wouldnt have pushed as many consoles. The exclusive marketing and bundle in some areas pushed a lot of units. A similar scenario will happen with all the games Sony has marketing deals with this holiday which is why they'll have a huge holiday.

HOW CAN YOU FORGET GTAV?

PS4 will have exclusive perks but they're still not revealed yet. But you can assume it will be marketed as a PS4 only game like the marketing last year for PS3. I bet they're also planning a GTA V bundle.

Shit will go crazy with all these biggest hyped games of the year getting bundled and marketed for the platform. With such 3rd party support and momentum no wonder they can delay games in a relaxed way.

Destiny is 2 months before the Holiday starts, hype will most likely die down once all those October games, COD and Halo come out.

Lol if a game gets mainstream enough like call of duty or gta which destiny has the chance to become then hype doesn't die down like that.

Nothing to argue given their sales up to now them having a great xmas is a mere formality.  Check how watch dogs bumped PS4, even a multi plat thats on every system did it.  Destiny will do far more and start the build up to some massive holiday sales. 

PS4 is the defacto console of choice, software and hardware sales show it.  multi plats will drive its sales while X and U will be the ones desperate for an exclusive to help em sale.
