The game looks no different than a year ago! That was simply the first time we've got to see the character's faces so close up! The landcapes are still as amazing as always!

I wasnt actually trying to be a grammar police, I was just trying to figure out if wright had a hidden meaning or not.  Usually dont care, as I mostly use a tablet too and it produces all sorts of errors.  If you look through my posts, i generally have a lot of m's where n's should be because my ipad loves that m key more.  So I certainly understand the mistake, I was just curious about wrights post was all...

And no, Xenoblade X was not downgraded at all, that's just some haters hating. It still looks beautiful. The characters have more of a classic FF/JRPG look to them, and this is the first we've really seen their faces. Most of the effort by Monolithsoft will be put into the spectacular environments, just as it was in Xenoblade 1.

I have little doubt that this will be the RPG of the generation. I didn't play close attention to the gameplay session on the treehouse because I don't want a single thing ruined from when I first pop it in my Wii U, but what I saw assured me that the combat and story and visuals will be every bit as good as the original and then some. It looks like they have upped a number of things such as making the menus slicker with the benefit of HD displays.

I think it looks better than any previous time we saw it.

I don't know what people are talking about with the character models, I think they look fine. Faces look smooth and expressive.

of course the characters faces are ugly, but they havent shown the face of characters in other trailers...

X was my initial justification for getting a U, but it looked worse and iv seen both conference and tree house.

Not sure if the early stuff was pre rendered or just touched up. Maybe some awesome cherry picking of best of the best shots but either way it went from awesome then to pretty good at one of the directs and now to ok will wait for reviews.
