Mc bundle with 1 year gold, special controller, 1tb HDD, $299. Literally the only chance to get back in the race. Or the same with sunset overdrive.

I agree, and thats why i think Sony passed on it. The people who really wanted to move over to a new next gen AC - I think the majority would have done it last year... so there will be some this year, but i suspect the hardcore would have already done it, so its of diminishing benefits. That's why I think Destiny was a good move.

I think MS should do the Halo collection with an exclusive console colour with that bundle as I think that will be their biggest seller in the christmas period.. I dont think Sunset Overdrive or some of the other games mentioned will do anywhere near Halo's numbers.

But that seems like such a bad deal. Unless they throw in a Thai massage and a year's subscription to Cheese of the month club, nobody will buy that bundle.

Maybe if they throw in 50 shares of Microsoft into every bundle to sweeten the deal...

Seriously -- A themed Master Chief console would shift insane number of units. Even at full price. (Not just the black box - a white or light blue box with a helmet stylization of sorts)

Marketing a multiplat as an xbone "pretend exclusive" would obviously decrease the sales on ps4, and given the difference in sales between ps4:xb1 in assassin's iv and wd i don't think it's going to happen...  Not at least with ac,  maybe with the division... 

If you actually paid attention to all 5 conferences, Microsoft, EA, Ubisoft, Sony, Nintendo, you would know that there is no platform exclusive content just preorder limited edition. Exclusive ACU bundle for XB1 is as less likely than exclusive FarCry 4 bundle for PS4.

I suspect MS has a number of bundles coming this fall. You will likely see a holiday special like they have done for years. Couple of games free with an X1 purchase. I wouldnt be surprised if a special MC bundle. Two reasons for not announcing now. 1. Dont give reason to delay sales. 2. MS said E3 was all about games and thats what they did. Leave it to later this year for marketing announcements.

Doesn't matter if they do, seeing how Watch Dogs moved 4 times more PS4 than X1 Destiny will move a lot more ps4 than X1 too :)

I never said Ms had any exclusive Assasins Creed content, I just thought becuase Assasins Creed was shown at MS's confrence that there could possibly be a bundle if MS was willing to pay for it. Theres a more lily chance that if there was a bundle for Assasins Creed it would be with MS rather then Sony. The same can be said if there was a Far cry bundle or any game shown exclusivly at a confrence (other then its publishers).
