Forums - Nintendo - Robot Chicken Should Take Over Nintendo's Marketing

Why not? The skits in E3 conference were funny for adults yet kids can still get something out of it and it represents Nintendo's personality well of just wanting to have fun. And it's one of those things that could go viral on Facebook/Youtube etc. and is very different from Sony and MS' marketing.

Seth Green (the Robot Chicken co-creator) has worked with Nintendo before with the Dragon Quest IX marketing campaign too.

It would be far more effect for example if Robot Chicken did the Tomadachi Life commercials instead of this nonsense:

They should take the funnier approaches they've been doing in their E3 event and more recent Nintendo Directs and push that into commercials. Much better:

Shake up your marketing and do something different, that's what Sega did in the 90s to counter Nintendo in the first place by targetting adults/teens.

Around the Network

They've made some funny ads for Playstation aswell. Remember that PS All Stars ad?

Has it really gone viral? I chuckled a bit during the typical tongue-in-cheek complaints skits, but I have not seem them used in the forum. Nothing like the non-specific action figure explosion.

You say tomato, I say tomato

"¡Viva la Ñ!"

I am honestly not a fan of Robot Chicken and I think they are passed their prime (well here anyways).

The segments were nice, some were somewhat humourous, but I really dont see it being a big deal.
