The camera game looks fun.

Both games look hard to play and that makes it maybe fun to play, but will these be 60€ games, don't think so.
I think he should retire when he wants to. Still hoping for a very awesome Star Fox game.
Project Guard looks good.
The robot thing however seems like a waste of time at the moment.
Im just glad starfox is back!

Yep. Guy comes up with fun, interesting little passion projects. = He should totally retire.
Because he's not bringing us Halo and GTA. Right? Sorry, but give me a fuckin' break.
He just confirmed they weren't going to show Starfox, only when they feel the game's ready to do so. Will take another year or so before it's finished.

For starters, when you look at the standard of game that gets "big" these days I don't really give a damn whether Miyamoto is producing things that get big.
It's a very different situation for Miyamoto now because whereas back in the NES era he was very much creating genres, now he's trying to find new niches in them, and that's a very hit and miss process. For what it's worth, Project Guard looks like decent fun to me, though should definitely include some local multiplayer element that's better than shouting at the screen.
Sooner or later he is going to reitre, he might as well do it now.
