The Wii Fit commercial in Norway is horrible. It almost turned me away from buying the game! (It appeals to 40 year old women only.

Got mine this morning (Luxembourg) and for "only" EUR 72.99 instead of the announced EUR 89.99 (Luxembourg has lower VAT than other European countries but that doesn't justify such a big difference). Got to work all day now but can't wait to try it out (I probably want this more than my wife... Does that make me a bad person?)
Elaine: I will never understand people
Jerry: They're the worst.

Nahh, it just messes up your profile name. You have to take away the first part.

After playing Wii Fit, my official opinion is that it will sell outstandingly in Europe and USA. The legs on this game will be great through word of mouth. I created a thread for first impressions of the game:

My Mario Kart Wii friend code: 2707-1866-0957
This will be huge in the U.S.
Convinced my mom of getting it since she does exercise every day with Richard Simmons (lol). I showed her this video and she said, "let's get it."

I think that's the best introductary video to show a non-gamer. It explains everything so well.
Hi there.

I'm actually turned away from buying this game for their use of the BMI. It's not that I don't like what it'll tell me, I know my own body weight, it's that it has nothing to do with actual healthy weights. The data for the BMI was collected in middle Europe during the industrial revolution and the average person wasn't exactly well-nourished.
If you ask pretty much any doctor, they are going to tell you it's safer to be 30% overweight than 10% underweight based on the BMI scale, and that's because the BMI isn't based on healthy weights at all. Heck, the BMI considers Brad Pitt obese, and I would be pleased to have a body like his. Or at least I'd be pleased by a lot of women, on a regular basis, if I had a body like his.
The BMI is a joke, and it's high time society stopped letting themselves be lied to. You don't need to be on the verge of starvation to be attractive, but you do if you want to score well on the BMI.
You do not have the right to never be offended.
Wii Fit rocks! It's awesome, far better than RE4 and on par with MP3.

Well the Wii Fit tv commercials are coming thick and fast during prime time down under, at least down here in Melbourne anyway. Also most electronic's and gaming store's in my area have Wii Fit poster's and boxes everywhere. It will definately be interesting to see how this sell's down here in Australia.
I just placed a preorder for this. Man, this is going to be huge. Was anyone else surprised at the size of the balance board? I expected it to be bigger. I went to EB Games today, and they had a "life-size" Wii fit balance board display (bit of cardboard on the floor). My feet flopped over the edges of it. I don't know for sure if it was indeed the same size as a real board. Can anyone confirm or deny that the Wii balance board is a little too small for a size 12 (AU) foot?
