I don't get how it was much better than Sony's and Microsoft's shows. They showed off games we'd already seen before, didn't show any gameplay for X or Zelda, spent more time than they needed to with the NFC thing (yet somehow failed to explain what the hell it's going to do on Smash) and didn't show anything new for 3DS. They announced about as many new games as Sony and MS did, but Sony and MS showed off more gameplay for games that were already announced but never shown before (Arkham Knight, MKX, AC Unity).

Better than MS because: Exclusive Focus, Gameplay > CGI

Better than Sony because: Much better camera work, Exclusive Focus, Pure Gameplay > Semi Gameplay

Nintendo showed the least new ips though.

It was marginally better, but it was too short, to much talking and not enough games overall.

But live demos and unedites gameplay footage, which both Sony and Microsoft had but Nintendo didn't, are better than Nintendo's gameplay montages.

Nintendo revealed unique games not CGI movies.. If I wanted to watch a movie Id go to the theatres

That's cool. But do you think the "unique games" will help them push ahead of the competition? Trust me, nothing will change. The variety that the other 2 consoles bring will always trump Nintendo. They revealed new games in decades old franchises. The casuals who bought Wiis aren't even playing games anymore. They've either grown old and passed on or have grown up and moved on to Xbox/PS4.

Look..I've been gaming since early 90's and I almost quit gaming 5 years ago but what kept it from being stale was uniqueness.  So as someone who's played games for over 20 years I appreciate something unique.  COD is just goldeneye with a nice controller and good online but I played it before

I've been gaming since 1988 and am not a fan of COD. NES is my all-time favorite console. But today's Nintendo is a joke. I was the ultimate Nintendo fanboy until Gamecube. I think my hatred for PS1 stems from my Nintendo fanboyism lol. What I saw today reminds me of why I can no longer support Nintendo. They've been peddling the same franchises since the 80s. It's time for new ideas.

There was also Smash Bros, Yarn Yoshi, Splatoon, X, Bayonetta 2 which also includes the original Bayonetta and Star Fox U will also get shown pretty soon!

Captain Toad, Mario Party 10, and Devil's Third plus a few more. Nintendo brought it

Yet Nintendo had an awful E3 according to some! Let's not forget that Nintendo will announce Star Fox tonight and other games tomorrow!

Why is it so hard for people to understand that everyone has different opinions? Some people got excited for Nintendo's conference...awesome. Some people got excited for Microsoft's....awesome. Some people got excited for Sony's...awesome.

No matter what you say, or do, you're not going to change these peoples minds, nor should you try. Forcing your opinion as the overriding feeling from everyone is asinine. Just be psyched everyone enjoyed aspects of the keynotes and move the fuck on.

who is forcing any opinion? looks like everyone is sharing their own views in a very civilized way.

There's allot of folks saying there's no way you could feel this way, or that way.  Because they feel their opinion is so much more relevant.  It may not be as rife in this thread, but it's all OVER the E3 threads at this point.

Feel bad for me?  I am the luckiest SOB alive right now!   News Flash:  Announcing another cartoony Zelda doesn't bother MS/Sony fans one bit.

Lol but somehow the same doesn't apply to mario kart 8, mario party 10, a Zelda I'm pretty sure is in the teens, etc etc etc?

And I suppose Cod is all the other consoles have to offer... Disregarding of course that they have far more games announced in varied genres

They did better, but wan't enough to save their console's future. I say this year all are even. They all missed something that they all needed and wasn't able to address it.

Have you tried metroid prime 3 with point and shoot mechanics that's a "new idea".  I've played call of duty on xbox and although fun, I found the metroid style "refreshing".  Have you played mario galaxy the gameplay is unique and new in physics.  Nintendo doesn't use new characters but it does use new gameplay ideas.  When GTA III first came out I thought that was cool so yeah unique gameplay trumps CGI for me
