Actually it did with units shipped and sold. NPD and both companies pretty much confirmed it. Ps3 finished the gen in second place.

Okay so 360 won.  Some people will call it a tie. Some will say PS won and vgchartz is  not that accurate. Who cares? That Gen is over and WII won. Lets talk about this gen.....

It's not over yet for the PS3 - Persona 5 still to come.

I always though that the WiiU started this current gen. So therefore by the end of last gen, the Xbox 360 by that time was always a head of PS3 in sales for who knows how long.

in januari 20010 i predicted this wouldn't happen before the new generation launched and its getting more likely each time the new shipping numbers arrive


its been a long hard faught gen with ups and downs from both sides. I comend both systems for there success and great gaming experiances. It reminds me of a UFC fight where both guys beat up on each other till the point of exhaustion and beyond then at the end hug there oponent and are estatic they were given such a hard fight.
