Forums - Gaming - Ethomaz's Says Hello!!! Sony Won Another E3 (It Is Getting Boring)

Thanks for this thread. Once again it was confirmed that E3 is not worth watching, because everything is so predictable. I expect people to lie to themselves for a few more days, but eventually they will come around to agree that it all has been getting stale.

I dont know, I think Nintendo had some genuine surprises in their conference!  I think they easily won E3 this year (sorry Ethomaz, definitely dont agree sony won, I actually think they had the worst showing).  I am actually genuinely excited about the future of the wii u now... Which I havent been since the launch of the console...

Aamzing thing is sony still has so many studios whose games are not announced, major studios. Ms has played most of there cards, there first party weakness is really showing.

Hot damn can I get a list of these studios and their unannounced games

How exactly do you expect to get a list of unannounced games?  They're unannounced... o.O

Just look at the minimum requirements for watchdogs a cross-gen game

and?

The recommended settings tell the whole story, but I'm not worried about it, I'm buying a ps4 next year.

I'm honestly not sure what this 'story' is.  I built a $500 pc 4 years ago that easily meets the minimum requirements (and then some).

Sure you did... which CPU and graphic card did you buy 4 years ago?

A crap I3 and a gt440, both better than the minimum requirements....

The fact that you rated Ubi above MS is quite amusing. But it's your opinion and all so yeah.

The one thing i love about Ubi is they dont take themselves too seriously and they generally have great games to show.. I dont think Ubi were as strong as last year, but still it was *alot* of fun.

Making an indie game : Dead of Day!

I am a bit curious. If Sony was to ever go out of business or get out of the video game business, how their fans would spin it.

Stop hating and start playing.

Oh and now I'm going to say Nintendo blew everyone else out the water. Moving their conference up to a 9/10

Official minimum is a GTX460 (a lot faster than a GT440) and a quad-core (I3 is a dualcore).

It will probably start with your hardware, but you will have serious performance problems even in "medium" and 1024x768 with that setup.

Bloodborne is developed by Japan studio and from Software just like Demon souls so its a exclusive and we are sure that sony not going to make the mistake of Dark souls this time. So, it will make this bloodborne as new series and im really excited for this.

What mistake did Sony make? From Software made Dark Souls on their own accord, there was more money in a multiplatform title. No matter what Sony does, it's going to be hard for them to keep this exclusive. It could very well end up like Demon/Dark Souls and go multiplatform once the XB1 install base becomes more reasonable.

How can you say Sony has won E3 when the show hasn't even begun? Nintendo will be epic tomorrow.

That said I'm disappointed in both Sony and Microsoft, just not enough new stuff.

------Sony----

Good:
Grim Fandango HD - Amazing!
Uncharted 4 - Looks amazing
Bloodbourne - Will this stay exclusive? Going to try out Dark Souls soon

Bad:
Still Nothing for Vita
No new first party IP's
No "big game" for fall 2014

OVerall: C

-----Microsoft----

Good:
Scalebound looks great (but I was hoping for Lost Odyssey 2)

Bad:
Too much of a focus on Halo/Forza
Other exclusives managed to look even worse (Sunset Overdrive, Fable Legends)
NOTHING else was shown, where are the promised games? 3rd party doesn't count.

Overall: D-

---- This spells an easy win for Nintendo......................

and it was.

------Nintendo------

Good:
Starfox WiiU
Zelda WiiU
Couple smaller exclusives

Bad:
Nothing new for 3DS

Overall: B-

Sorry to break it to you, but Nintendo will win this E3!

I agree that Nintendo won, but not because they were particularly amazing, but because everyone else sucked.

XB: announced 1 new game and gave us more Halo/Forza/Fable/over-saturation

PS: announced a few new indie games and LBP, but nothing amazing and nothing for Vita

Nintendo: announced Zelda and Starfox, but nothing for the 3DS. XenoBlade Chronicles X and Smash Bros look amazing though.
