depends who is publishing it.. if MS, then its Second party. I m afraid we didnt see any rumored third party

-sigh- No, it's not.
Second party doesn't apply to games, it applies to developers. Platinum is a third party developer, developing either a 3rd party or 1st party game. It doesn't matter who is publishing it. It only matters who owns the IP and who owns the developer. Gamefreak is a second party studio that works for Nintendo on the Pokemon games. Rare was a second party studio working on both first party games, and 2rd party exclusives owned by the second party developement team. Those two are 2nd party because they were and are partly owned by Nintendo. Microsoft does not have partial ownership over Platinum Games, so nothing about it can ever be considered 2nd party. Microsoft now fully owns Rare, so it is now a 1st party developement studio.
Bayonetta 2 is a 3rd party game. Wonderful 101 is a 1st party game. Nintendo published both of them. Nintendo does not own Platinum Games or the Bayonetta IP. Nintendo owns the Wonderful 101. It's a 1st party game developed be a 3rd party developement studio. 2nd party is virtually non existant today. The only modern case I know of is Gamefreak. Gamefreak could make a game for the XBO right now if the wanted to.
People seriously need to quit bringing up second party like they know what it is. Sorry for singling you out. You are not the first or the last.
