Well with Xillia now being that best selling Tales game ever and Zestiria being placed on PS3 since the install base has the majority of Tales fans on it, it's the smart move. Also, that article is from 6-7 months ago so the transition of PS3 Tales to PS4 Tales will be much faster then it was last gen considering it took 3 years to get Vesperia on 360.

Yeah, I was thinking that the next installment of Tales of would still be on Ps3. But all things considered, and after Hideo confirming that they won't do tales outside of Playstation, the next one after Zestiria only makes sense on Ps4.

You're totally missing the point and I must warn you, the opening statement is borderline trolling.

Sony could've tried to convince 3rd parties to make games for the PS4, but they possibly decided not to. Who knows? As I mentioned before, Persona 5 for the PS4 would've been a megaton, especially in context of how the PS3 is outselling the PS4 in Japan. The PS4 needs those games that cater to Japanese gamers, so your statement that Sony actively discourages 3rd parties from putting their games on the PS4 misses the point by a mile.

Persona 5 on Ps4 would have been a horrible decision, but I'll let you figure why.

You're talking like Persona 5 would save it, but you're unable to see that Persona is one of the nichest franchises out there. Not a single game has managed to sell more than a million units. This game would literally do nothing in Japan, Ps4-wise.

The same thing with Atelier, the same thing with Tales of. Look how many numbers these games do in Japan. That's why it would be dumb to put them on Ps4 with such low install base. Wait till the console sells more, then put them on it. That's why these games are releasing on Ps3, and that's why it is a decision the third-party took by themselves; Sony has nothing to do there.

But as Bloody_Tears pointed out, after Zestiria, which is also releasing on Ps3, Hideo Baba will produce a Tales of for Ps4. Again, this is a decision made sorely by the third-party.

No... just no. 360 has been beating the PS3 in NPD again ever since September. 

What's funny is that VGC even has 360 OVER tracked in the US. So Europe and Rest of World are MASSIVELY under tracked.

I mentioned Persona 5 as an example. Why you assumed that I thought Persona 5 will save the PS4, I don't know. And Persona 4 Golden's effect on Vita sales says hi. Anyways, we should just leave it here since we cannot find any common ground.
