And Sony could've find a way to persuade him to make Tales games on the PS4. To assume that Sony can't do anything to influence decisions of 3rd parties doesn't make sense. Sony doesn't have the final say, but it doesn't mean Sony is merely a sitting duck.

It's possible, but we don't know the PS3 shipment numbers and considering the PS3 has been outselling the 360 recently in NPD irrc then it could be in 3rd as we thought. In other words no one knows for sure.

That's exactly my point instead of others claiming it was always in 2nd place. My point is there is no proof either way as of yet.

Yeah, definitively, Sony goes out there talking to every single third party dev convincing them not to put their games on Ps4.

 

It doesn't have anything to do with the fact that most of these franchises are niche and they aim for their crowd fanbases on the seventh gen consoles, which still have an incredible amount of marketshare.

Its pretty obvious that 360 is massively undertracked but immediately stating that they are second as fact without any numbers from Sony is jumping to conclusions. I am however gonna guess (so not stating a fact here ) that they are both statistically tied either in favour of 360 or PS3. But all in all both consoles did great last gen
