Microsoft's 2014 E3 Press Conference has been tremendously hyped over the last year to the point where it may have been the most hyped E3 Press Conference of all time with Microsoft fans saying that practically ever AAA game on the planet would be coming exclusively to Xbox One as Microsoft began its rise to total dominance of the 8th Gen.  However, in comparison to the hype, Microsoft's E3 Press Conference seemed incredibly underwhelming.

It just seems that if Sony comes out tonight and announces a few key Japanese third party exclusives ( from the likes of Hideo Kojima or Square Enix  or even new footage of the Last Guardian ) plus a look at Uncharted 4 or The Last of Us 2 that Sony will easily take the title for Winner of E3 2014.

So, Sony fans are you breathing sighs of relief following Microsoft's safe and / or underwhelming 2014 E3 Press Conference?

If anybody takes gratification from another console than the one they prefer having an underwhelming showing, that's not only very sad but also very short-sighted. If anything, it's a worrying sign for everyone how uninteresting these new consoles all are.

Yes. Relieved. No huge 3rd party exclusive. Not even a Resident Evil.

The confenrece was great though. Lots of great games.

Yep only because I didn't want MS money hatting BIG 3rd party games. Thank god they didn't get something big from a 3rd party developer.

nope, i wanted them to make sony work for it. but its clear they can coast by with little effort and lay a beat down on them.

Was hoping ms would force sony to drop UC4 this year, but after that conference.... they could push it to 2016

I'm breathing a sigh of relief that E3 had at least one good Conference that focused on games after the last few abysmal E3s. If Sony and Nintendo do the same I will be over the moon.

I dont recall MS 2014 being treated as the coming of Jesus, but I haven't been aroung that much. Seriously though of SONY needs is a few exclusives from Japanese (all the western games look exactly the same) with gameplay and they win. Same with Nintendo. Just show up with games and they win

Nothing to make me buy an Xbone, yay!!!

But seriously, both 2 guys have underwhelming exclusive line ups this year which is saddening (not expecting Sony to show anything significant for 2014)
