Why would it be weird to expect Nintendo to support the vc more than it has w a wider variety if games - particulary when lack of software was one of the biggest knocks on the system for the 1 st  year+ And game variety is still a shortcoming?   Building the VC shop quickly w a diverse library would be a relatively quick and inexpensive way to help the Wii u-    Releasing 1 or maybe 2 vc games a week is just weak

Let's take a 2nd glance at what I wrote.

"slow start" - yes it was very slow and obviously should have had a much larger kick off. WiiVC should have been created with this idea in mind.

"ton of great content there now" - yes, now there is a very good selection of VC games that do have strong variety.

Of course there are always games someone wants to see added. Just as people complain WiiU has no Madden. But that doesn't negate the the excellence in the existing titles.

Disappointed. Why is it always so slow to build up a good library of VC games on a new console. And even now Wii U still lacks Nintendo 64 games. GBA support however is a redeeming factor.

On a more revolutionary point, I think it's time for Nintendo to stop making everyone buy Super Mario Bros. again on yet another system, and instead move the Virtual Console over to a subscription service. A subscription-based Virtual Console would be a genuine system seller I think.

Im dissapointed in the slow transition of games from the wii vc to wiiu vc. Im dissapointed in 90% of the games they selected to bring to wii u vc. Im dissapointed that they havent tried to bring over any gamecube games... Yeah, Im dissapointed in the wii u vc so far...

But Im still hopeful that things will get better. I would also love fore nintendo partner up with sega, maybe bring over some saturn/sega cd/dreamcast games!

Right now disappointed but I believe that in the future it will have a very strong lineup.

I'd like the option to turn off slowdown. I understand that a truly accurate emulation of an original will emulate the originals slowdown, but I'm far less tolerant of it as I was in the early 90's.

Also the option to switch between Pal and NTSC speeds would be nice. Games running at Ntsc speeds are optimal in many cases from a gameplay perspective. However for nostalgia reasons games running at Pal speed is sometimes better. A classic soundtrack can sound slightly wrong and less soulful if played at a slightly faster tempo than in your childhood memories.

Since the GBA games hit I'm more than satisfied.

You've no interest in SNES, NES, or GBA? That's the whole point of VC! I refuse to believe you've played every RPG the SNES has to offer! Though I do wish there were more N64 games. I'm semi satisfied with the VC at the moment, because they have a lot of good games on it, and Earthbound is one of them. However, it has a LONG way to go. The Nintendo Virtual Console should be have its own eShop and work on any Nintendo system able to play them. And it should have every Nintendo published game for every Nintendo system ever available for it, at the very least.

Disappointed. It's been a year and a half without N64 titles, while the old Wii had Super Mario 64 day 1.

Incredibly disappointed. They needed ALL of the Wii VC games already from the get-go.
