Nope. I think the OP is super optimistic. Also think that he like some of the nintendo fathful don't understand just how bad things are.

Lets look at the best selling console. The PS4. It cost $400. $150 more than a WiiU. It exceeded sales of the WiiU while still not having a definitive system seller. Its stil outselling teh WiiU while the wiiU has this supposedly game changing system seller. This isn't much about how good a PS4 is, but rather about how uninterested people are in the WiiU. And most people, even PS4/XBO owners seem to think that whenever a new system seller is released there will be this ridiculous uptake in hardware sales but yet forget that most of the people interested in that franchise and who knew it was coming probably already got the system.

When Zelda is shown and/or released, we will see many more of such threads again about the WiiUs resurgence. Not gonna happen. I know I may be sounding like a party pooper, but the WiiU is dead in the water. Nothing is gonna change that.

Is it that people don't know that in 5 months the WiiU would have been out for 2 years? Can anyone remember when last nintendo.... or anyone for that matter of the big 3 made a console that in 2yrs didn't break 10M sold?

Week 1: 187k (The current one)
Week 2: 130k
Week 3: 95k
Week 4: 80k

In general? Of course. Anyone who doesn't believe MK8 will help the Wii U's baseline is kidding themselves. However, the baseline still won't be great. I'm predicting about ~55k.

it will outsell the vita and the xbone in the most weeks. mk8 should placed the baseline above te baseline of thse 2 systems.

MY prediction for the next month. 

Week 1 (This may 31)- 187k

week 2- 140k 

week 3- 110k

week 4- 90k

It will slowly decline to a 10k higher than it's old average is what I'm predicting will happen, at maybe 50-70k. 

That's what always happens, and I think predicting that next week sales will actually be higher is unrealistic. 

No, but for 1 month Wii U dont' sell less of 100,000.

Wii U needs constant releases, and then it will sell respectable numbers.
