You never played a game like Forza 5 and thought "some less jaggies wouldn't hurt"?

I mean, not that I know if the extra power will make it possible to implement better anti-aliainsg or stuff like that but if it would mean it then why exactly shouldn't I be happy about that as owner of an Xbox One? I don't own one but I like it even if it will increase the graphics or phyisics or whatever only a little bit in the next years. 

I mean, when I play a game on PC I also play it with the highest possible settings even if the games would be also good with lower settings.

Not once.

Of course people will welcome more power, but it wont make them happier or the game better to play.

 

 

Well, good for you I suppose. As huge Forza fan I can say that aliasing always annoyed me in Forza and that less of it would make it really a perfect experience to me.

Yes, those lazy devs who decided to go on 900p with 4xMSAA instead of 1080p because they think it results in a better image. Next time the low-level coders who fight for every ms in rendering frames should ask some VGChartz members to do it right.

What X1 game is 900p w/ 4xMSAA? :p The only (currently released) X1 game i know of that runs at 900p is Ryse, but that's using SMAA 1TX.

I believe The Order is the only major game that has thus far been confirmed to use 4xMSAA (TF used 2xMSAA though).

Indeed, that I as huge Forza fan will recognize stuff like that even more as people who will never play it or just drive some rounds from time to time.

Pretty much like with everything. If you are into photography and really like your specific objective does also not mean that you won't find something which could be even better. And if it's "only" about curved or straight diaphragm blades to let the highlights in your bokeh look rounder. 

Doesn't mean that you won't still love your photos but also not a reason to act as if everything is 100% perfect like it is.

I would never decide to buy or not to buy a game only because of small differences in graphics but that doesn't have to mean that "nothing" changes if it looks little bit better.

Maybe now the 30fps games will actually be 30, not 25ish.

I'd hate to think how bad the moderation would be if my opinion was in the minority. - not that it should matter because suppressing anyone regardless of whether their opinion is mainstream or not is ridiculous.

Wow, that's probably the most ridiculous ban I've seen yet.

I can only presume the mod(s) aren't aware several X1 games have dipped below 30 fps. Some even have screen tearing issues. Extra GPU resources made available to games could help with that.

And besides, it seems like your answer to the OP question was... Yes, it will matter.  25 to 30 FPS is going the right direction.
