Before Sep 2011 only the core team was working on it, the project was put on hold so many times ( mainly due to XIII spin-offs and the disaster XIV turned out to be at launch ) SE didn't take the project seriously for is was not meant to be a main FF title. I wouldn't call the management mess a " 10 year development cycle ".

The bright side is that this is more or less the same kind of environment that the original FF was spawned in.

If FFXV and KH3 don't take off SE will be a shell of its former self and become a white dwarf.

bolded: SE is already that. FF XV and KH3 is their (last) chance to reverse the situation.

FF XV is never coming out.... its been like 8 years already and now they rename it and show it only to make it disappear again, if the game isn't shown at E3 then its not coming out this year or next year... we will be lucky if it comes out in 3 years (2016 - 2017) and THAT if its shown at E3 next year.

What a disappointment one of the games that im most looking forward and it may never come out....

you know... it may be sarcasm but at the end of the day you are not far from the thruth... god we will be lucky if we at least get a REAL release date (you know one that doesnt gets delayed...) even if its in 4 years...

I was 100% sure on a 2015 release date for FFXV. Yes, we still have Gamescom and TGS, so who knows, but skipping E3...?

I'm EXTREMELY disappointed.
