We do know that there will be monster hunting jobs in Witcher 3, it is possible that those monsters will serve as boss fights, and this could be one of the monsters from those monster hunting jobs. 


Like Geralt slidding under the gryphin thats just too perfectly animated to be real time I think, its either a cutscene or QTE (and Im OK with it either way).

I think it was a smart move in delaying it. There are like 7 games coming out in October.

Doesn't really matter. Those 7 games would last you beyond February of 2015.
