looks great but it's no earthlock...

...kiddings aside i looks fantastic but i have a question,.. is this a game i can really play on console or is this like skyrim where you pretty much need to get the PC version because mods are more-or-less mandatory to make the game playable?

I really want to know how this game looks on PS4...

Also, does anyone know if you have to play the previous titles to understand the story? Because there are no Witcher games on PS.
