One retail game per month. But there are some months where I don't buy anything at all!

Depends on the month, some months I spend over a $100, other months maybe $10-20.
I think for the past few years I was spending around a $1000 a year. But now I'm playing my back log and renting games more often. So I don't spend as much as I used to.

$40-$60 dollars. Sony has gotten me hooked on sales ever since their very first flash sale. All my stuff has been digital, which works for me, since my bluray player in my PS3 isn't always friendly. But, I can't resist good disc based games, for five bucks in the PS Store. Except last month, after getting LA Noire, Red Dead Redemption, Max Payne 3, and Soul Calibur V, I had to stop myself. I was most disappointed with Soul Calibur V, and that was the game I wanted most, and paid the most for.. Soul Calibur II HD is what I got last sunday, and have been completely happy with it.
But, this week, I bought Ni no Kuni, Ray Man 1 & 2 on PS1, and Ray Man 2 on PS2, and Dragon Age Origins. All sale prices.
Now, Mortal Kombat complete edition is on sale on steam for five bucks, and I'm thinking about that too. I was thinking about injustice too, but I don't even like injustice. I'll just stick to MK and be happy. I'm just paying for the right to play on PC, and all the costumes, since I don't care for Rain, Freddy, or Kenshi. Skarlet's cool, though!

I'd say yeah.
I own a ton of digital games because I generally buy them when they're on sale. Buying everything I want to try at regular price would cost significantly more.

On average, including hardware, about 250€/year, so about 20€/month.
That's not much, but I usually play a lot on most of the games I buy (Mario Kart, Smash Bros, Fire Emblem, Pokémon or Animal Crossing series are always going way over 100 hours per game).
I try not to spend more than 1€/hour of gaming.
