So my friend has a Wii U, which will probably now postpone my inevitable Wii U purchase till I graduate as he will get Smash 4 as well.
And now the dorm lounge contains a PS3, a 360, a Game Cube, a Wii, and a Wii U, I know a friend with a PS2 and a PS4 and he can let me borrow ISS over the summer. I know your all pretty jelly of my fortunateness but I'm not here to brag. I promise.
On topic, I've never been a big fan of the Mario Kart series, I didn't bother buying any of them, only playing the ones I borrowed from my friends such as Double Dash. The strange thing is MK8 actually appeals to me, and its not just because it has Rosalina in it.
Gameplay Wise its easier I feel, but its so pretty...
And its pretty fun, I find myself practicing races by myself some times.
I even have a new found appreciation for the Wii U Tablet, my previous cynisym painted it as a useless peripheral but I definetly prefer it to the pro controller or wii motes.
Now this and the explosion of the Death Stare meme, have made me think.
Since I'm not a hardcore MK fan, I'm not going to assume, so as a casual of the series I find that it really appeals to me.
Perhaps MK8 was designed to have a much broader appeal than its predecessors?
Which makes sense considering the Wii U's prior performance, and the Games sales so far.
Discuss.
