I would LOVE a sequel or a full remake. I'd be less excited about a remaster.

REvelations was legitimately fantastic on the 3DS. I'd be down for another. The console versions didn't have the spirit that the 3DS version did.

I agree. Even tough I finished it on PC, it was portable-centric. Never the less a new portable RE for the 3DS/Vita would be wonderfull :D

I have very mixed feelings.

The thing is, the clunky controls kinda both made classic Resident Evil good and completely unplayable by modern standards. Tank controls are cinematic and immersive, but inevitably sloshy and clunky. It was what made classic RE games what they were.

I stopped playing it because I wasn't enjoying it, but that's probably my fault because I played RE2, RE3, and CV one right after the other...
I was probably just burnt out on RE...
Remakes and enhancements seem to be working for Capcom lately, so I suppose this we should have expected something like this...

This is the only Resident Evil title of the main series that I never got a chance to play. By the time it became available on a platform I owned I just could not see going back to the tank-like controls and not being completely frustrated. I know it has a good reputation from most fans and Capcom has had some success with these so I suppose this could make sense for them.
