So long as it corrects the only real issue Win8 had in that it has a proper UI for each environment type vs forcing a one for all look, then it will be good.

Android has essentially been moving this way as well, of course it had two distinct tiers in mobile then chromeOS. But that is steadily merging as well including the new AndroidTV experience to be unveiled later this month.

Next Apple will "invent" this with iOS9 in a year or two.

Still trying to figure out what is wrong with Windows 8. Uses less resources then Windows 7, faster to start, faster to close, faster to find things, just faster, faster faster. If you dont want to use Metro apps boot to desktop. Pin your apps to the task bar (been doing that even prior to Windows 8). I find the oh switch between start screen and desktop is to jarring argument to be hysterical. Oh my eyes. Then they go from website to website with totally different designs and have no problem.

Looks much better. I was afraid that if I get a new PC, I will have to be stuck with WIndows 8. I can just wait until next April to get a new PC. : )
