Is this America? never had coins expire. just ways of earning them have expired. i think i lost a few hundred coins recently but im already platinum for the year.

Log into your Club Nintendo account. Click on "Account & Coins" and then select tab "Coins and Status". It shows all the info about the coins and how many of them might be potentially expiring on June 30, 2014.
Coins expire after two years if they are not used.
