I was on the Google+ page of D.C and i saw this video confirming that the game ran at 720P 30FPS.  I heard lot of poeple saying that it is a downgrade that it runs at 1080P 30FPs , that the old one was 1080P 60FPS.

Delay isn't worth it if only graphics get better since graphics don't change how much fun you have with a game (or only very little). If I would think like that I would have to hope that every game will get delayed because pretty much every game could look better if they would release it one year later. They could already work on their new game instead but this will release also later now because they couldn't finish DriveClub last year. The delay of one game means that pretty much every release in the future will also release later. Next game after DriveClub maybe in 2017 instead of 2016 and the game after that in 2020 instead of 2019 and so on...

But I think they will fix much more as the graphics. Gameplay looked pretty boring in my opinion and I think that this will get also much better so that it would be worth it for the gameplay because that really changes a game but not how the trees look...

Well things look a little bit different for someone who didn´t find the old one that appealing for a next gen game and find the new one realy interresting with social network improvement and better graphics

I guess that's cool. I probably wouldn't bother with the game if it was 720p. I'm so used to racers at 1920x1200 at the moment.

That's not how it works.

Game was always 1080p 30fps.

It was not but they used the time to polish more and add more content.

the game certainly looks better but i'm not really sure what sony was thinking. how much polish is really the right investment for a game they are giving away for free.

i'm starting to think the order delay was a long time coming and driveclub was on reserve to fill the gap. i mean, perhaps not the original delay back at launch but the ensuing waiting just seems sooo delayed. i mean, how long does it really take to fix the matchmaking system?!?
