I'll probably get it after E3. I need to see what gets announced so I know what to spend my money on.

I see a lot of areas that they need to improve on, but it's a good start since I don't think Ubisoft has done this sort of open world game before, I have the PC version and sadly, it wasn't able to keep my interest over MK8 right now so it's on the back burner as MK8 is hell of a lot more fun, wish they didn't release at the same time frame.

I'm loving what I've played so far, its ace just finding people you want to steal from and taking their cash..haha. Game looks nice on PS4, and I don't really get the hate its getting. It's like GTA but different enough... in fact I finished GTA the other day and to be fair was getting pretty bored of all the side missions that I felt inclined to do, and the fact that you only get real money at the very end of the game.. gah. So yeah so far loving it.
Not sure why there is so much hate on the internet over it, but on the whole don't think it will make a difference in my opinion. It will see well...
PS I also love Person of Interest and that makes the game more appealing to me :) - even if the main character looks and sounds like Reece at times..lol.
Yeah, I'm really enjoying it as well, I'm been fortunate enough that I haven't experienced any wild gitches. All I've been doing is play "help is on they way" and stop crime :p, the police chases are the best I've seen; using the traffic lights, blocker, steam pipes, and tire spikes are so satisfying
My only complaint is the citizen ai, they sometime dive in the way of my car trying to avoid my car, wtf?
I may get it one day, but more inclined to get it on Wii U.
Hopefully I will enjoy it more than Assassins Creed 4.

The only reason people are bashing this game (even though it HAS been downgraded fron the E3 build): this game is not GTA V.
Really, that's all the vast majority of detractors say about it.
But Watch_Dogs is better in my opinion. Tons of things to do, Chicago feels and looks real, nice story line, nice characters, awesome gameplay... A real must-have. The first real next gen game.
EDIT:
Now don't get me wrong, Watch_Dogs is far from being perfect. It has a lot of flaws, especially the driving and the damage on the cars, but it's a really good game, and a great start to the franchise.
Remember the first Assassin's Creed. It was flawed as well, but AC II and III were simply awesome.
People keep saying it's not worth the money simply because they can't get the idea that Watch_Dogs is NOT GTA V.
And in my humble opinion, it is better than the latter.
Think about it: Watch_Dogs gives us something new. Never an Open World city has felt THIS alive, the hacking gameplay is a great idea, and even though it could have been better, it's still a real pleasure to play it. On the other side, GTA V offers NOTHING new. So yeah, 3 characters, big deal, but that's all. It's still the same game as every GTA before.
So imo, Watch_Dogs > GTA V (but it's still a great game as well)
Just because you have an opinion doesn't mean you are necessarily right.
This game is the very definition of a 8/10 or 8'5/10. Is solid, is fun but for some people expecting more (something really amazing or a masterpiece) they will be disappointed and others expecting to fail will be surprised postively.
For me, Watch Dogs as a new IP is a great start, like the original Assassin's Creed was in their time. Like the original AC, this game can be much more in the obligatory sequel if they expand what it woks and fix what not, like what they did in AC II, it can be that 9/10 or even 10/10 game for me.
This is only the start of a new IP. Not every new IP is like The Last of Us or Halo (to name a few) that started being a masterpiece. Remember how succesful IP's like Uncharted, GTA, Call of Duty, ... started too and how progressed with each new entry to become what they're known for now.

Exactly. But I really have the impression that gamers never think about this. A first shot can't always be perfect. Geez, most of the time, it's not, and it could have been a disaster as well. They really did a great job, and I hope the sequel will be an amazing game.

The game is amazing, i've spent far too much time simply blowing stuff up and causing trouble than actually playing the main story
