I just noticed I didn't say anything positive about MK. I didn't really feel the need to because of two facts. I bought a Wii U for it. It's Mario Kart.

I don't think it will top Double Dash but it's still Mario Kart ;)

I used to not know what to think of you, but now that I see you are a fan of Double Dash!!, I have a clue that you at least have a brain.

Good on you.

Good on all of us :)

Uhhh, couldn't you have just plugged in the console in any free room and then played purely on the Gamepad screen? I did that in college during our ridiculous breaks on Wednesday. Maybe I'm forgetting something complicated about setting it up the first time.

I'd suggest you reconsider paying extra for a Pro-Controller. I just play with the Gamepad plugged in... and wait to see what games the Gamecube-Controllers will be backwards compatible with - then again I personally believe the Gamecube controller bests any other conventional controller.

Also, wanna race?

Edit: You're gonna have to search for me because I can't find you on the Mii-Verse. My name is Twilord.

Congrats on the WiiU, as for the game it all depends on your personal preference but if I didn't already had nsmbu thats what I'd go with.

Really? Hmm, I mean its a great game and definitely worth having but seems odd to me that anyone would prize it over Pikmin 3. Especially since Pikmin 3 is generally more expensive.

You need a TV to initialize the Wii U before you can use it for the first time. Believe me I tried without.

I can't play with the gamepad for too long because it obviously wasn't built for my hands. The Pro Controller has to do the trick. As soon as that adapter for GC controller hits I will throw it away.

The whole "720p is horrible" thing is just your Sony fanboy defense mechanism. Just let it go and accept that Nintendo makes the best games, then you can live with yourself in peace.

How is it a Sony fanboy mechanism when I am continually telling people that The Last of Us gave me eye cancer with its horrible fist sized pixels and lack luster AA and textures. And that one is supposed to be one of the best looking games on PS3.

If anything it's from my gaming rig which manages to give me crisp 1080p with smooth AA cranked up to the max Which is very soothing to my cancer ridden eyes.

So yeah, MK8 looks like a slightly beefed up PS3 game. It's of course fun but I won't take that as an excuse for those graphics. A game should have the full package and not just half of it.

Can't I love a game and at the same time hate on all its shortcomings?

Looks like I hold power over you.

I unthinkingly dropped your name to the cashier when buying it. He just nodded.

While Pikmin 3 may not be the best game in the series, it is still a fantastic and gorgeous looking game that is worth the time playing. Of these games I recommend Pikmin 3

"I think it will be the HDS"-Me in regards to Nintendo's next handheld.

I am really glad to see you finally came to terms with your inner Nintendo fanboy.

PS: I recommend using sunglasses when playing Mario Kart 8. They say it's a great way to fight eye cancer.
