What's about PDP's Gamecube controller?

Its also really weird that there's 2 USB ports leading into the Adaptor. |

Wouldn't the pro controller's digital triggers be preferable to the GameCube's analogue triggers?

OT: As someone who follows the competitive scene, this news makes me very happy. Can't wait to replace my 12 years old Gamecube controller if that Smash Bros. version becomes available. |
the point is i dislike a lot of those poeple whining about that till now actually. They should learn to use newer , options, like the pro controller. But as i said this stops the whining...until they want another addaaptor/GCN controller for a new console.
As soemone said on ign, which i and 5 people completly agree with,
"
Peoples obsession with the GCN controller will never end will it
Still, hopefully this will lead to GCN VC faster and with more games.
Lol yeah this.... if they don't make people move on are they just going to keep releasing some way to use a GC controller with every
new console?
"
They should move on imho, adaptability is one of the greatest skills.
I can see myself buying one of those GC adaptors...

As it relates to smash and the controller?...whatever. GC controller is the preferred and best controller for Smash. Anyone who plays competitively knows this. If you don't play competitively then I understand why you don't understand. Who says that they should use newer controllers? Why? the play style and button config is borderline perfect for this game. Besides, pro players def don't want wireless controllers, wired is much preferred. Also, what does it even matter to you...it doesn't affect you at all and satifies a market and fanbase that Nintendo has. People are buying GC controllers on ebay from 70-100$, there is money to be made from Nintendo's side and it makes it easier for us so that we don't have to import them anymore. Why don't you go and ask the Pro Street Fighter players to go ahead and give up their fight sticks why your at it...smh
| superchunk said: why would this GC controller be better than the pro controller? I'm not an uber SSB player, so maybe something about GC configuration just makes it better, but yeah idk. |
The GC controller is the breath of the competitive scene, without it we suffocate and die.
| TM25 said: I love the Gamecube controller but this is just pandering, what next the melee fighters keep gurning so they hack the Wiiu game because they hate change and don't want to adapt. Also, why does the gaming industry continue to give a damn about Keighley, they could have had Zelda Williams. I like that they restricted the roster and that there are items, get to see the new characters in action and some hilarious bullshit ensue. |
oh no...nintendo pandering to their consumers...how will we survive.
